Price lists
Every stock code sits on exactly one list, at recommended retail. Underneath each list is its own discount ladder, and a customer sits on one rung of it. That is what sets the price on a quote line — not a number anyone types in.
The six lists
Ladders differ on purpose. The agency brands can carry a real reseller discount; the trade lines cannot.
Exclusive Australasian agency. RRP set in AUD off the Malmö ex-works sheet at the rate the container was booked.
Exclusive Australasian agency. Booths are made to order; stations are stocked.
Exclusive Australasian agency. Knives and blowers are usually quoted as a package.
Distributor for Australia. Hose and nozzles move constantly; the rail systems are project work.
Local WA agency. Only part of their range is coded here — the rest goes on a quote as a write-in line.
Bought locally and on-sold. Thin margin, so the tier ladder is short.
Where the customers sit
How a line gets its price
- 1 The stock code tells us which list it is on — one code, one list.
- 2 The list gives the RRP.
- 3 The customer's tier gives the discount on that list. Gold is 22% on Plymoth and 11% on ductwork.
- 4 Anything agreed with that customer specifically comes off after that.
